Christopher Lisney studied Art Foundation at Bournemouth and Poole College of Art and Design before continuing his studies in 3D Design at the University of Brighton, graduating with a BA (Hons) in 1989.
After graduating he established a studio forge in Sussex, initially creating sculptural bespoke furniture and lighting.
His early work was exhibited internationally at design exhibitions in London, Amsterdam, New York and Dubai, attracting commissions from architects, interior designers and major retailers including Selfridges and Sanderson.
During the late 1990s Christopher began developing sculptural work specifically for gardens.
The success of these pieces led to his first exhibition at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2003, where he continued to show new sculptures for more than sixteen years.
Christopher’s sculptures are now held in private collections across the UK, Europe, Canada and the United States.
